Greetings traveler, and welcome to the LJ userpage of Toksyuryel. Though I appear human offline, do not be fooled by appearances. The soul always remains true to its natural self regardless of what physical disguise it may wear at any given moment. You can learn more by looking up the word "otherkin" in your favorite search engine. I am extremely passionate about issues I see as of prime importance and I take a zero-tolerance stance when it comes to alcohol, drugs, and lust. My patience is paper thin when I precieve willful ignorance and irrational thinking. I am at heart a creature of love, and feel driven to share my love with the world and any who will let me. Though I am an extremely spiritual person, I don't take kindly to what I term "crack spirituality" (New Age being a clear example). Senseless mysticism does nothing but slow us down. That said, I am also opposed to religion (organized or not) for much the same reason- it promotes willful ignorance with useless mysticism and irrational rigid codes that you aren't supposed to question the validity or even research the history of.

As I said above, I am "otherkin" which means that my soul and my body don't quite match. My Kind is a race of beings which resemble the Dragon of this world, known as "Choukansii" (for more info, please consult WalksFar's site: http://www.psnw.com/~walksfar/Chouka.html). Among our people I am known as a Philosopher, seeker of truth by nature and by trade. We are highly respected for our tenacity, honesty, and ability to drill straight to the heart of any matter, regardless of its complexity. We excelled at thinking outside the box and exploring every possibility in search of a better way of thinking and existing. Behind every major paradigm shift- be it societal, cultural, scientific, or otherwise- stood a Philosopher. That spirit- however muted it may be in this shell- lives on today despite my present circumstances.

Physically, I resemble a non-anthro western-style dragon. My head lacks horns. Instead of scales I have incredibly smooth skin hued a solid bright red. This smoothness, along with my solid color, lends my body an exceptional shine- if I'm not careful, I could end up in somebody's hoard! Additionaly my body is very soft and quite squeezable, and always comfortably warm to the touch. Despite this it is surprisingly difficult to pierce or damage. My wingspan is proportionate to my body, whereas my tail is much longer than would be expected; however I am unsure of my actual overall size, and I suspect I may have been able to change it at will (the jury's still out on this one). For the benefit of simplifying online interactions, you may assume me to be about 5% smaller than you normally.

I'm really a nice guy once you get to know me, but I'm very stubborn and stick to my principles so I can be difficult to talk to at times. Still, if you have the patience to deal with me, I'd love to get to know you better :)
